Angela B. Fannin, 59, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2009. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Elliott-Hamil Garden of Memories Cemetery, directed by Abilene Funeral Home.

Mrs. Fannin was born on July 13, 1949, in Nashville, Tennessee to Dominick and Mary Basso. She moved to Abilene in 1957, and was a beautician for 30 years.

Survivors include her mother, Mary A. Basso of Abilene; a daughter, Misty Petty and husband, Scott of Abilene; a sister, Beth Butler of Abilene; a brother, Clifford U. Basso and wife, Connie of Old Hickory, Tennessee; three grandchildren, Justin Petty, Tyler Hutchins, and Austin Petty; a niece, Corinda Bastin and two nephews, Christopher Basso and J.C. Butler.

Angela will be greatly missed by loving aunts, uncles, many cousins and many dear friends. The family wishes to express a special thanks to Dr. Hirsch and his staff.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. Friday at Abilene Funeral Home, 3349 N. 12th Street.
